RACL also utilise the resources of external testing houses local to their own facilities. This is basically to enhance their own capabilities and to allow more work to be progressed through the plant.

NDT -    "C" Scan-through transmission water jet inspection.                                        "A" Scan - ultrasonic inspection systems.

Mechanical Testing - Compressive stress, and elevated temperature testing.

Chemical Testing - Wet chemistry techniques can also be called upon for analysis of the composite materials.

All the above testing operations listed, are carried out by external sources. These are all RACL approved aerospace / and OEM approved facilities.
